Citation

Authors will use the following citation format:

Name of the Manuscripts Collection, Manuscripts Collection number, Louisiana Research Collection, Tulane University, New Orleans, La.

“Louisiana Research Collection” must be spelled out the first time a collection is cited. Thereafter, the abbreviation “LaRC” may be used. Alternately, if the author provides a list of abbreviations used, “LaRC” may be used throughout.

Permissions granted by the Louisiana Research Collection do not imply that Tulane University’s Louisiana Research Collection controls the copyright to the materials or that the applicant should not secure other authorizations prior to use.

Patrons citing or otherwise using materials from the Louisiana Research Collection will defend and hold harmless the Tulane University’s Louisiana Research Collection, the Tulane Libraries, Tulane University, its Board of Administrators, officers, employees, and agents against all claims, demands, costs, and expenses including attorney’s fees incurred by copyright infringements or any other legal or regulatory cause of action arising from use of Tulane University’s Louisiana Research Collection materials.
